Blog, Bebo and YouTube pages broaden DSE portfolio

MyScience.ieMyScience.ie website banner

MyScience.ie is the blog from Discover Science & Engineering (DSE). It covers all things science-related including:

  • News about DSE and the programmes we run, such as Discover Primary Science and Greenwave.ie
  • Information on science and technology in Ireland and world-wide
  • Interesting and quirky facts, videos and images

Our approach on MyScience.ie is informal. The idea is to zoom in on interesting information relating to science, technology, engineering and maths – and to make it fun to read.

Since it’s a blog, we encourage your comments. You can make sure you don’t miss updates to the MyScience.ie blog by signing up for email alerts or the RSS feed.

I Love Science Bebo page

The DSE Bebo page, I Love Science, taps into the interest of teenagers in Ireland in science, technology and engineering.

I Love Science Bebo page

I Love Science Bebo page

Since many young people spend more time on social networks like Bebo than on websites, the I Love Science Bebo page brings DSE to them. Interacting with I Love Science lets them express and share their interest in science, technology, engineering and maths.

The I Love Science Bebo page provides videos, quizzes, polls and an I Love Science skin. Visitors also get a heads up about upcoming events, such as Science Week.

Visit I Love Science on Bebo and become a Bebo friend.

DSE YouTube channel

The Discover Science & Engineering YouTube channel promotes science, engineering and technology in Ireland through the use of online video.

This channel features videos of many DSE programmes and sponsored initiatives, including Science Week and the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. Also, through our favorites section, you can watch other interesting science videos on YouTube.

Visit the DSE YouTube channel and watch DSE videos or check out our favourites section.
